Stonebridge Gardens (Snake Park)

Stonebridge Gardens is a small but popular park in London Fields ward, next to Haggerston Station. It was refurbished in 2016 and updated April 2018 (removal of monkey bars and updating equipment). The park is home to the ever popular blue snake, a large mosaic play and art feature which dwells in the play area, which also contains a slide, sand pit, multiple person swings, hammocks and a trampoline.

Playground Address: Haggerston Road E8 4EP

Playground Review

Cleanliness 4 / 5
equipment 3 / 5
health and safety 5 / 5
picnic area 3 / 5
toilets 0 / 5

A fairly small playground, it has on entry to the playground one of the first accessibility roundabout that we have seen for wheelchair users.

Equipment includes slide, sand pit, multiple person swings, hammocks, trampoline and a giant snake to climb and hide in.

The playground is clean but really muddy, there is plenty of seating in the playground but no toilets on site children have to use the bushes.

We would definitely return to this playground we both had a lovely hour here on our way home.

Xavier’s Review

He had a really good day and said that the playground was “ok”
